Philippines dried mango quota unable to meet demand

The market for Philippine dried mangoes remains high but production is unable to meet demand from 40 countries, a Cebu-based food production company said yesterday. Justin Uy, president of Profood International Corp., said the company processes 7,000 tons of mangoes every month but it is insufficient to meet international market demand.
